I bought a 9kg weighted blanket and I really hope it will help me get better sleep. Anyone else use a weighted blanket? Hope it won’t make me overheat :-o

It took time to get used to it on me during the night bc I toss and turn a lot. Falling asleep was lovely but changing position was tough.

I recently got a 20lb weighted blanket. It takss some getting used to, mine has a "cool" side and warm side, I figured out which side was which and now I don't overheat! For mine, if you compare both sides, one has batting and one doesn't. I out the batting up and I can feel the coolness of the glass beads, but if I flip it, it's nice and cozy.

I have a 15 lb one. I wish mine had a cool side at the moment.

Beauty Sleep Bundle this is what I got. It has this huge looped knit weave so it shouldn’t trap heat, fingers crossed. I’ve been sleeping like absolute garbage for months so I’ll report back tomorrow! :-D

My son just bought a 12lb one and he loves it. I tried it and didn't hate it but I think that because I sleep on a couch and can only switch from my back to my right side I felt stuck in one position if that makes sense. The weight on my legs felt better than a compression sock and did alleviate the end of day swelling I get in my left ankle.

I have a 25lb weighted blanket and it has helped me sleep so much... its heaven. and it is made out of some kind of stuff that never overheats me. I have to use another blanket with it if it's particularly cold

mine is a full bed blanket that’s pretty heavy, i think 30lbs total? but the full weight is across the whole bed. anyway it doesn’t make me overheat.

I love mine. It definitely makes me sleep better. The only downside is I have a back injury and I shift a lot in my sleep as a result. Moving the extra weight ends up with me having more pain. HOWEVER I do still sleep better so it’s worth it sometimes!

Well, I can’t say I was any less restless, I’m used to sleeping under nothing at all so having a heavy thing was an experience. My legs tingled all night but the puffiness was gone this morning so that’s a thing! Hubby slept like a log. He’s a convert! May take me a few more nights to get used to it (LOL)

I also did not overheat and I was pleasantly surprised with how little pressure it put on my feet due to the open weave style. I normally can’t handle having my feet under a covering at all so that’s an improvement
