Not sure if they're a boy or girl, they're guarding their butt well. But taking them to get fixed tomorrow morning.
I'm hoping to get these 2 babies I've seen who are definitely young enough to socialize. They're a lot more cautious.
That is a very pretty cat.
And good luck catching the babies!
They are quite pretty! The shelter makes you put a name down even for the ferals that you bring in, so Gray dubbed them Ghost.
And thanks. Fingers crossed I can get them in time.
awww beautiful kitty! and what sweet babies :3
Oh.... good luck with the BABIES but also congrats on your... very easy catch
Awww, Ghost♡ They look very dainty curled up in the trap.
Oh hello Ghost 😻😻 What a cutie!
such a cutie
my girl was a feral but she got caught around 6-7mo
both of mine were feral too
and I just had to remove Toph from my face because I couldn't conduct my Zoom meeting
they are snugglebutts now
Why is it that former ferals always are the velcro cats with no sense of personal space lol
Anyway I'm sure Ghost could be domesticated with much time effort and vet care, but I don't really have any of those things in sufficient quantities right now... The babies will be much easier and happier with the idea, probably
And much more likely to be adopted when I bring them to the shelter
She's home now, sans uterus! She's a little lady apparently. Anyway she's hanging out in the sun room for another day or two of recovery and then she goes back home.
She's as good as she's gonna be in my care. Still eating everything I put in her cage, still terrified of everything and being as small as possible.
I haven't even seen her shaved spay belly. Too curled. Too protected.
Trying to decide if I should release her tonight or give her one more day. It's such a small space to keep her confined, but I want to make sure she's recovered enough to be safe outside too.
oh baby
I ended up releasing her. She was eating great and seemed healthy and it seemed like it'd be OK.
Shortly before releasing her.
So you're supposed to let them sit in the trap uncovered for a few minutes before releasing them so that they get their bearings and know where they are before they make a mad dash away.
While I was letting her acclimate, one of the other cats came up sniffing around her trap very curious. Looked like a sibling or cousin. Very sweet though, they definitely were acquainted.
awww kitty friends. bye Ghost, have a good baby free life
she's so pretty
