I think the context matters, like how fantasy is it??
Yeah, go fantasy enough and the focus of any cultural sensitivity concerns starts to shift.
Fairly fantasy? Like. It's an isekai, partly for the specific purpose of examining the problems of our world (and the long term effects they have on a person) from within a setting that doesn't have those specific problems (though it does have others.)
it's more specifically an "eggsekai" because this story largely is about being trans, and discovering yourself.
...And more relevant, most of the cast (including the black characters) are neither human, nor even from our world. They also weren't designed to mirror anything in our world - but that said, people will always try to draw parallels between out world and a fantasy world, and I want to make sure none of my plans/current writing accidentally
leads to bad parallels.
I'm just saying if the culture is far enough away from our recent historical bads, you can go the dragon prince route.
That said ive seen only one episode so i dont know the story but it seems like they're pretty hard fantasy land.
The culture is pretty far out, but I'm trying to be cautious, and want to go over some of my plans for the series/the history there is.
