we just switched my dogs food over to something new because she’s getting older and the whole idea of my dog still being mortal and not this ever present fixture in my life is really weighing on me right now
that dog is my moms best friend. like quite literally. she doesn’t really have that many friends in New York and she loves her more than anything. she’ll sleep by my moms side until she wakes up even if it’s at 1 or 2 in the afternoon and will be the first one to greet her when she wakes up.
