The worst part about getting a taste of new Homestuck content is I find myself wanting to check the site for more, as though there will be more anytime soon. Or that twitter won’t tell me if there is.

Fair :-P I know not to expect anymore of the epilogues before June, but hope stupidly springs eternal :-P

The only thing I know about the Nature ending is that his kid’s name is Boruto or something.

to be fair, the things that ping me to a character often doom them to death or fates worse than death

how was the homestuck game? I assume you partook but I watched about three minutes of it and was done, lol

Okay so! The Kickstarter Homestuck game was(is?) a shitshow from start to finish! Of course I pledged, and sat back to wait.

Maybe you remember this bit, but it progressed pretty okay at the beginning. They had a studio, they were making models and such, then it went silent for months.

Whatever, it’s Homestuck, it’ll happen. But months kept going, and finally they updated: the studio took the money and then got Kong’s Quest and quit working on it.

Anyway, so they had to start over! But don’t worry, they were pulling everything in-house! Whatpumpkin studios. They promised we’d still get Hiveswap!

And... eventually we did get part one. It was a charming 2D point and click adventure that was obviously only the first of three parts :-P

Then they put out a bunch of unrelated Friendsim things? Lots of new trolls, unrelated to hiveswap, and I never looked into it much.

But since the release of part one there’s been nothing said about more. I was kind of hoping to get at least a yay or nay about whether or not to look for more Hiveswap in the future, but I guess not.

At one point someone who no longer worked for them said they hadn’t given up on it, but that was at least a year ago and they no longer worked there, so who even knows.

I enjoyed what they laid down! As a kickstarter backer I’m pretty sure at one point they said I’d get all the parts, but at this point I might pay a little for the rest of it, because it was charmingS

But probably I will never get the chance.
