Alright guys what am I doing wrong? In blender my mesh links look fine, I try to load them into sl, and sl stretches them out and will not let them squish any further in world. I try to squish them thinner in blender and it does not matter it pops them out wider. GyazoGyazoGyazo
You've reached the hard lower limit of size in SL which is 1cmx1cmx1cm. If you want the link to look right it needs to be part of a larger mesh so either link it to the rest of the necklace and use a material face if you want to have a different texture on it, or
Thanks so much for the help guys!! You are amazing ZeeZuleicca and SLinkbySiddean Also I knew the normals were inverted I'd accidentally done that just was too lazy to change it back for the pictures. Again though thanks for all your help
you can also make that triangle into a line, by placing 2 of the points in the exact same spot (snap to or scale to 0), and as long as you do NOT remove doubles and it remains a secret triangle, it will still cheat up your bounding box- and with the "line" it will always be invisible, no separate material required.
