a little bewildered as found out yesterday been selected to exhibit at Earth And Fire International Ceramics Festival. I will now duly start panicking on how not to mess this up😅.

this sounds like a very good opportunity though - for exhibiting, not for messing up!

if dhsarquol will be able to be there for moral etc support.

that he will be there for the weekend but mostly I do these shows on my own. Or at least the setting up days.

looked at the location. It's quite a trek up north. Are there still (in-law) family members across to the other side?

yes most of dhsarquol is in the north but we don’t tend to stay with them. We have Doris 😊.

guessed correctly that it was a camper van.

someone else I know has always wanted a Scooby-Doo style van to operate from.

if you will be needing to prepare some more exhibits specifically for this or if it's more a matter of selecting the most appropriate from your existing collection.

these days I tend to have enough stock of my work to do several shows in a row and since the stand at this one will be smaller than my average setup then I should be fine.

Doris has been an absolute boon since we’ve got her. We used to camp at shows but after a fall 3-4 years back I was advised to not sleep on the ground so ended up staying in way too many hotels through the show season.

that the investment in Doris means I sleep in my own bed, with my own bedding and can prepare my own food which makes it a lot more bearable especially when I’m doing it on my own.
