rakath How hyped are you for the inevitable Chandra spellbook?
Fairly hyped. Like 13/10
I mean even if Jace is not my favorite walker, Jace is my favorite variant of Counterspell.
So I might get a set of those for my EDHs.
right? tbh worth picking up for most edh players I think
It's worth it to fancy up your deck? Like, I'd windmill slam getting this if I ran a Vryn Prodigy EDH.
And it is MSRP positive because of some of the cards there, but only if you need more than one.
Like, I'm not buying a package of this cause I only need the one spell (Counterspell). A few of them have nice art but not '20 bucks' nice.
(I do hope Chandra's isn't... all of the cards with Chandra's name in them, cause you could do that easy enough. Chandra's super popular in card names.)
hopefully we get at least one or two really powerful cards, since Jace gets gifts and tutor.
I just hope going forward not all of them are just instant/sorcery cards. I mean Chandra's will be, she's Chandra.

Also doesn't Chandra have a fire elemental that makes some more fire printed in a core set somewhere?
I mean, something has to be negate quality, so I could see that.
Chandra's Phoenix being reprinted would be cool, of the 'Chandra creatures who are not worth anything.' Chandra's Spitfire is... not even a little cool. Inferno Elemental could also be a reprint of negate quality.
And Jaya could be sooner than we think, as she was in the end of Rivals of Ixilan's story when Jace hit Dominaria.
(You know its Jaya she called Jace a bookworm off of one glance.)
I think she'll be at least five from now, though?
'cause Chandra is super-popular, and I figure we'll get one of each monocolor first.
