I got hired today across the street; gonna do some hosting and then move up into serving because holy heck I love money

so I mean it's going to b e a temporary decrease in pay but totally worth it in the long run

no more overnights, no more stupid back to back shifts, no more corporate fuckery ... happy early christmas to me

anyway hello yes I'm still alive but not very, december continues to suck in retail land

I'm going to be off work every day by 330 pm!?

anyway, I'm going to go in and do some training on tuesday since I have the day off from retail hell ... I offered to come in on friday too but they're really adamant about not wanting to overwork people

and they also wanted to make sure I had some time off with the hubby??? wtf

this is so weird ... but yeah yeah yeah I'm outie in 2 weeks

and now I get to go to work

thank you guys, I'm out of this job in an hour (for tonight) but I definitely think I want to have a victory drink when I get home lmao

chances are I'm still going to do 1-3 days a week at retail job but they'll be short evening shifts just to make sure my cash flow isn't too awfully impacted.

and hopefully I can phase those out as I get a feel for what kind of money I'll be making at the restaurant.

I have hopes for you!
