i have been positively ripping through this podcast for the last month or so

and trying so hard to avoid spoilers, which is really, really hard when tumblr exists

but magnus' backstory was one spoiler i managed to avoid ;;

i started listening because i kept hearing how hilarious and awesome it was, but i wasn't expecting feels

i thought it was gonna be okay. there was that little 'you're in trooooouble' joke and i thought theyd figure a way out of it

most of my attachment was to taako (because he's an asshole and i love him) and all the npcs, but the last few eps have made me love magnus so much

and now im heading into the final stretch of all this knowing that the end is coming and im already sad about it

gonna draw taako being sassy forever

That's how it goes tbh??? Like both me and my sister imprinted on Taako first and then Magnus was a sudden stealth fave

i mean im pretty much automatically attached to whatever resident asshole character is around, but he felt a little more real to me from the beginning. things started off shaky since most of them are first timers, so maybe the character voice helped?

theyve all gotten much better as things have continued, though

They HAVE -- Merle ended up being a pretty major fave by the end too

Mostly because of how much of Clint crept in

still kinda meh on merle. i def like him better than i did at the beginning though

i do enjoy how they play loose and fast with the rules, entertainment over numbers and such, but every time clint tries to use a spell for the super wrong purpose or one that he shouldnt have access to yet, i cringe a little XD;

i know they're playing like... what, 4th or 5th edition? but im playing two different pathfinder clerics atm, so the moment he suggested using resurrection as a like 8th level character i almost spit out my drink

never mind the in game ramifications of a spell like that

super impressed when he remembers he's a cleric, though XD
