its weird 'cause mostly i'm glad no one called and hassled me to go out because i know i woulda accepted the offer, but part of me is hurt that not a single person called and invited me somewhere

i was all pumped like yeah i'm so ready to decline offers to go out drinking i got what i'm gonna say in mind already!! then its like crickets no messages no calls no nothin from anyone

sitting in mumble, asked if they wanted to get cards against humanity going and got 'maybe later!!' since they're selling runs on wow and they're all talking about how this is the best new years they've had they're having so much fun!!

while i'm sitting there like an awkward third (fifth?) wheel dragging my toe sheepishly through the sand alas

i shoulda just gone to the bar tbh i woulda been drunk but surrounded by people and having fun

the goal is to NOT do that though

it might still be sucky but why won't you put on a movie you really like?
