2016 was an asshole.

I bought a house!

I landed an amazing job

and got a good job

Tillie: was there no positives what so ever for you??

I am still living.

With a that bad global year I am not sure if that counts for the positive side tho.

For me..... i lost almost 1/2 my body weight
I got to act up at my job three times
I have an amazing gf that loves me
I let go of something id been holding onto for a very long time
I found motivation again

I got a dog
I am almost recovered from my shoulder injury
I have been planning a trip to thailand which will happen in a few weeks
I went to europe
I reconnected with my family in the uk

so many positives!

There have been some horrible things too, but there has been a lot of good too..... it was good trying to write them down and im sure i missed things

I started the list after finding out i didnt get the promotion i tried so hard for and instead they gave it to someone who has a history of bad behaviour, including bullying me.... she is now my boss

the biggest ones are:
I don't live with my toxic stepmother and dad anymore
I got out of a horrible relationship once and for all
I met a good SL/Plurk friend in RL for the first time

and a fairly recent one is that meeting my best friend for the first time IRL is going to happen in March!

that one got set into motion a few days ago

Ummm... i dunno. well, starting to do youtube videos, even though it's just through my avatar, has kind of pushed me out of my comfort zone. so i guess that's good?

aliciachenaux: that is a great one! It doesnt have to be something huge. I think its important to acknowledge the positives

master put up with me for a whole year and then partnered me on top of that. moved into a giant mansion on a quarter of a sim, met some lovely people. i wish reality had more positives but all i have for that>
