I have been in SL a very long time- over 9 years. Granted, that is not as long as some. I have seen a lot of people come and go. Recently, I find myself in a very unusual (for me) situation: Seeking purpose.
That sounds more pitiful than it's meant. I just mean that up until now, I've always worked in SL, had more things on my plate than I could comfortably juggle.
After removing myself from some difficult relationships and situations, my plate is clean and brightly shining and looking for something to hold.

i've been SLing for 8 years myself and i've never not had a good time....even when being bored outta my gourd and just standing where i rezzed doing nothing lol
I've had bad times, and unfortunately surrounded myself with people who were not good for me. I have recently fixed the latter.
