I'm not in this fandom but I can tell you that there were maany times when me or Aru or tons of other people donated series that no one else cared about, so it's nothing to be ashamed of

generally when i donate things, i assume no one will collect them and it's a pleasant surprise when someone does lol. if i didn't, i'd never donate anything probably
