they actually have a reason- if you can't rez at 0/0/0 on your sim, it doesn't work (it rezzes there and then adjusts to recorded, apparently), and with all the no copy gacha, people have been bitching. BUT,

it's an amazingly useful feature, so disable it for no copy or check rezzing perms, don't just get rid of it entirely!
