i imagine she could get really depressed, then lucy tries to cheer her up, she leaps up declaring that she will show them the true power of her performance - and drags lucy along, while lucy screams
"WAIT. WHY ME!?"
(...Performing is important! Like magic itself, it is a way to express ones heart and soul in a way that's usually very hard for Erza!)
