One time a job said they'd call by Friday and they didn't. I spent the weekend crying on my friend's couch, marathoning Dollhouse.

They called Tuesday.

There's nothing wrong with getting excited. Give them some extra time or call to follow up yourself if you can.

I'm just pissed because this was a bit the light at the end of the tunnel I guess. (Says Al who still has a stable income thanks to grandpa and whose parents have stable jobs so has nothing to worry about yet)

Like a relationship, maybe it's not quite the right fit.. Or maybe someone else clicks a little better. That doesn't make you any less.

I understand. Don't give up though. If this doesn't work out, something else will come up.
