Ender's Game is borderline kiddie porn. The author, Orson Scott Card, is lucky to not be incarcerated.

for young adult fiction, I enjoyed the Mortal Instruments series - am curently making my way through Game of Thrones!

Rick Riordan's books are good too - I've read the Percy Jackson series and have now started on the second Olympians series.
