I got thanked last round, but then didn't get any return... at all. I spent like $80.
I have a list but sometimes I do a RNG and let that pick from my friends list. And it hurts to not get thanked- a LOT.
I either pick someone who has had a rough day or a special day. Or someone from the new people list. I don't usually thank people publicly, but I send a Rav thank you.
I won't be doing them anymore. Hate to be bitter about it, but I'm not exactly rolling in the dough.
Don't have much money to give RAPs but i do give patterns on friends birthdays,or if a friend is feeling down.
I have always been thanked when I've sent them. It would hurt my feelings if they didn't. I have never been RAP'd though.
I RAK'd about 20 people on Christmas Day and only 4 thanked me.
As far as not getting thanked AT ALL, I think it is pretty rude! I once gave someone a pattern, and I thought that they didn't thank me because they did so in a publicly but I didn't see
Oops not 20, that would be crazy expensive. I RAK'd 10.
I only do two on Tuesdays when I can afford it and have always received a thank you. Sometimes a few days later if the person is not online.
it for a long time. That's why I always thank in private.
Actually I think I did get one on Xmas and I thanked them via Rav. I don't like the public thanks on Plurk.
I tend to worry that they didn't receive it or too many messages cause an overlook if I don't receive a thank you. I pick someone from my friends list. I thank you with a Rav PM.
I really enjoy sending a RAPTuesday.
I have only rapped a few times. One time I was my thanked by someone I thought I was friends with. Makes me feel upset. I just haven't had
A lot of Extra money lately. When I do, I'll rap v
I have always been thanked. And I make sure I reply on Rav and on Plurk if the person is on here.
I only did 2 last week (both thanked me) and one today, she was gracious, and Bridget rap'd me, but I havne't gotten anything back but thank yous. but that's cool that I got a note anyhoo.
I pick people that post in the RAP thread
I am totally okay with not being thanked because it is a random act of kindness. I pick a key word like "flu" or something similar and try to find someone having a crappy day.
I try to put "less expensive" patterns on my wish list too because it is expensive. I also like to buy Patterns that might benefit a charity or help a budding designer.
I haven't had much opportunity, but did do one on Christmas, and got a thank you.
I usually pick a random person, either by their ravatar or I try to find someone who wouldn't otherwise get them. Once in a while I send them to someone as a thank you for being a good friend.
I haven't always been thanked but because I send them to random people, I don't know how often they are online and the thank yous I have received have more than made up for the others!
I pick people a random. I usually do a plurk friend, a rav friend adn the last time i did one, i picked one randomly from the the KPG group.
if I decide to gift a specific pattern, I"ll go see who's queued it and pick some randomly.
I think a quick thank you reply is just nice manners, but public/plurk/podcast thank yous aren't necessary.
