I probably should have said, "we finally finished it." My neighbor is retired from a school district. He worked in maintanace and built
book shelves etc. He was nice enough to donate his time. Here are a couple of other picts
My kids yesterday loved it.
I haven't figured out how to upload just an audio file without putting it into iMovie. That was pretty time consuming. Any other
This is my favorite, even though it was taken through the window.
Love this. Going to share
Fantastic!
what are you recording it with? GarageBand?
how are you using iMovie for this?
to where are you uploading?
shirky17, I am going to try Garage Band today. I used QuickTime but couldn't get the audio file in the blog??? It allowed video & photo
So I saved the audio file to iTunes. I tried doing the "enhanced podcast" --that is what an Apple presenter called them in iPhoto as a
but it didn't allow much text, so I brought the photos and audio into iMovie to make the podcast.
I chose the video button on Blogger and uploaded the finished movie directly to my post. Is there something better I should be trying?
if you want to do a "vodcast" (video podcast) then iMovie is fine...enhanced podcast is what some call podcast with video or pics...
Quicktime might depend on the version how good it is for that purpose...GarageBand is just for audio (an actual podcast)
uploading straight to blogger under video tab puts it in Google Video (YouTube??)
so google video/YouTube is hosting your video...they are blocked at our school so we cannot see them so i found other hosts
Slideshark, MyBrainshark, TeacherTube, SchoolTube, ....supposedly you can embed a video that is in your Google Docs/Drive
box.com also creates and embed code for files
just like pictures on PicsaWeb, you have to keep in mind storage space at the hosts....do not know how much Google Video/youtube give us
nor do i know where it actually goes (to get it back)
top video is : had an mov in my google drive and got the embed code
bottom vid is uploaded video to blogger
we can see both this year??? I wish i knew where the vid uploaded to blogger went (for management purpose)
now neither video shows up on a different computer...probably why i dont do vids this way
Thanks so much Paul. That was the piece I was trying to understand. So if I can make something with an embed code, I am not "dinging" my
storage space.--In a nut shell. Some of the info you shared is still rolling off the top, but I will look into the links you mentioned and
new questions will come to me. LOL You are a great friend and supporter
shirky17! I love Plurk!
