Unfortunately, most of society seems so determined to care about ONLY their own suffering.

Examples are the following:

The USA society for only caring about September 11th.

Yes, more than 10,000 people died in that, and there were individuals who plotted that heinous monstrosity.

No, it doesn't mean we can say, "I DON'T care about the Nanjing Massacre, or the mass enslavery of African Americans, etc."

As human individuals, we REMEMBER every single time this happens.

If we close our ears to the world of other societies in this ways, then we are no different from the mass murderers who killed our own kind.
