I got it. Go to edit profile, then Customize Profile, then add this in the "CSS" box:

#form_holder.plurk_box{ width:800px !important; } #form_holder.plurk_box .list{ width:800px !important; }

Seems to work. This is my cack-handed CSS at work so I will not be held responsible if it doesn't work.

(or replace 800px with a sensible width for however big your screen is)

I created a widget with a wider pixel option, saved text to notepad as .html and opened it locally. That kinda works.
