doesn't think you should worry. He'll be fine! After all, he's been playing hockey for a long, long time, he knows how to avoid injuries
and how to take a blow without it having long-term effects.
hugs her daddy tightly. "You have to promise you wont get hurt, then."
hugs back, blinking down at her. "Well... I Can't promise that, eh." He smiles sheepishly.
pouts a bit, but trusts Matthew enough to take his word that he wont end up brain-dead.

swings open the door to his closet, taking out his old hockey things and handing them to her. "Try these on."
struggles into the equipment. It's all a little bit big, but she still manages to hold together.
looks over at Wy apologetically. "I know it's a little big, but do you think you can manage?" He takes the heavier of the things from her. "
Because we can always buy them new if you need it."
smiles up at her daddy. "It's fine! Come on, let's go play!"
smiles back. "Um... Okay, let's go then." He grabs his gear and goes outside. "Remember to wear a jacket- it's cold."
"Yeah, yeah I will! Let's go!" She is impatient as a little kid due to her excitement.
smiles at her enthusiasm, shaking his head. "Eh, no need to hurry- the ice will be there all winter." He walks outside, closing the door
behind them and going over to the frozen pond on his property.
looks at the ice warily. "You are sure it will hold, then?" She asks neverously.
