I fished one pool today for over an hour to over 18 fish, some bigger than 18". Missed two takes, but that was all they gave me. Long hour.

right. Yes, they were holding in the bottom of a 5 foot pool. The water was clear enough to see them with polarized glasses.

Trout will do that in the summer, cause the water gets skinny and they like the cooler, deeper water.

Nothing so frustrating as casting and casting and casting different patterns right over their bodies as they flash or move to the side.
