after 3 nights (that should've been 4) in a tent on air mattresses...we headed home for one night. Mainly to unpack the mini-van and run..

a couple loads of laundry, repack the kiddos and enjoy an evening in our own beds! my fellow plurkers, my bed has never been so comfortable

slept in this morning, made pancakes, loaded the van (while the lady of the house took forever powdering her nose)...I figured I better not

ask why or give her any crap about the length of shower and whatever else she was doing after a long weekend of camping.

found a web-deal at a place called The Lodge right on 371 in the "twin cities if the north". checked in early afternoon and spent a couple

hours in the Paul Bunyon waterpark. Perfect size for an 8, 6 & 2 year old. Prices at the hotel grill seemed a little pricey so we sniffed

around Baxter and found a place called The Pizza Ranch. Oh my loon...shut the front door! A buffet set-up with full on salad station,

pizza station, fried chicken station (with all the fixings) and of course..dessert station with several coffee options. Are you kidding me!

I am now back at The Lodge, sitting in a nice over-sized chair in a food coma...and with permission from the powder room boss, I'm plurking.

looking forward to a quick stop in Nisswa tomorrow...she wants to window shop and I've heard of a good coffee place there. I'll be sure..

to wave at Cabin de FFiend as we head north to see my sister and her family!
