So.. mum's break was the bones on both sides of her ankle and one in the front of her foot. She has had the bones plated and is facing
physio and a stay in a half-way house for at least 6 weeks...
and then the firm of window fitters that caused the break by leaving a plastic dust sheet down for her to slip on want to know if they can
come and do some more work on Tuesday ! It seems they got shitty when they were told that no-one would be there !

thanks Sandy - and I'm 250 miles away so can't get to see her easily but at least my sister is nearer. Oh and I'm already plotting on how
to take the window company down - bad reviews on Google, articles on blogs etc - all fairly standard and easy stuff 
good for you!!
I hope she heals up fast!
