Aww, man- I don't want to know that! My poor computer seems to pick up every virus out there for some reason!

Mine was particularly nasty as it kept reloading itself as my computer tech guy kept cleaning. Finally found that it had snuck in through

my Adobe which I had not updated to 9.4. Here's the kick ... got it by opening a PDF file from HUD.gov.

Tech guy said it is imperative to update all programs because a lot of these virus' are attacking through old programs back doors.

I don't even know how I got it. I was checking my email and going to sites I always go to. It just bombed me and I couldn't get rid of it

Luckily we found info on how to get rid of it online and the hubs fixed the computer but I was out of comission for two weeks. Yuck!

And yikes about viruses!

Ick! Our desktop is still down because of a virus.

Brit! Dad was visiting his normal sites on the computer just about an hour ago and he got the ThinkPoint virus too! Luckily, I had your

Plurk to refer back to where you said you got online help, and also we were lucky that my laptop was still up and running. So I looked up

how to get rid of it online and helped Dad to find the same site with the computer in safe mode...and it worked! We got rid of it in under

an hour! But I'm relieved you'd Plurked this b/c when Dad asked me what the ThinkPoint program was, I knew it was a virus in

disguise and that knowledge probably prevented him from clicking any further! So thanks!
