1) get up to 50ish friends asap or you'll not understand what's going on here.

2) be sure to post 2x a day for 2 weeks, you know, giving it your best efforts and you'll be hooked.

3) Do more than just plurk about food or what time of day it is. Ask questions about tech/teaching/learning/Plurk. People are friendly here.

4) only friend educators. Sometimes you'll get an offer from a non-educator. Block them and don't feel bad about it.
