ya know, I think if Viewer 2.1 simply let me undock tabs from the sidebar so I could have 2 tabs open at the same time, I'd be happy with it
yup, that is a huge deterrent for me.

despite some of the bad desgn decisions, there are a number of very smart small tweaks
Just as an aside, the 2.1.1 beta has improved local teleporting for me...

for example, when you save a copy of an item, it doesn't name it "new item" it names it "item new"
The make unlimited outfits with no copy items is very useful to me.

I agree totally, thats one of my big pet peeves about the new viewer, well that and it takes 3 click to make a cube

Is Kirsten's viewer based on 2.0 or 2.1?
I know I'm a minority, but seriously, I try all the other browsers regularly and 2.1.1 is by far the fastest and best. Now, if they
could only implement about 10 little tweaks that other browsers have it would be amazing.

Hmmm, they stay open for me.. I just right click on the next object with them open. Maybe I don't understand you there....

sometimes they stay open, but any changes don't apply unless I close and reopen. Other times, they close when I save. Its inconsistent

sometimes, the change doesn't show up at all until after the item is saved
