I have a feeling designers may be slitting their own throats with all these deal days-- no one needs to buy anything anymore o.O Thoughts?

I love a sale & I love a freebie, but yeah, it's getting crazy nuts.

Hmm depends. I've been participating in PT for awhile, and although most people tp in to buy the item and tp out.

There have been more people who stay around and buy the full priced-items.

It's great for advertising. Although there are SO many different deal days now. I don't think it's as special as it use to be.

I see some that do more than just 1 sale day a week. Why would I buy anything from them at full price?

I agree, there are far too many sale days. I guess some people are just desperate for any kind of sale. It's sad really

alternative. I don't like undercutting too much, but during the hunts we have held, and on our SNF day, we made WAY more than we usually do

i think if you're selective about, hunts and special deals can be very profitable for a shop - folks who ONLY want freebies will never shop

you anyway, if they just refuse to pay for anything..and those who are willing to shop, they'll shop regardless..and special deals will get

I actually had the opposite effect when I did a hunt. My sales went down because all the hunters wanted the freebies and lagged out the sim

to the point where no one could shop. Obviously I have my store on an already busy sim so that just made it worse.

I like the freebies, I use them to judge whether I like the quality enough to by from them.
