divide time slot into planning time and computer time and break group into smaller work groups.
how much time do you have with them? also what was the purpose of the session?
a voicethread and have students go up individually to record a comment, create a slide to have others comment, or have groups of 2 use the
computer in the classroom on a rotation basis until each class has created an interactive voicethread
or commented, added to the voicethread in some kind of reflective manner
will any of them have cell phones? If they have even 1 per group, you could use PollEverywhere.
not in a lab- in an auditorium
any chance that you can give them 'clickers'?
Something where they interact w/ one another, move around. Envelopes of pictures to tag, simulate creating Wiki, something fun...
Can you do a virtual "Whose Line" or "MadLibs" type activity?
Use Google Docs "forms" to create a MadLib? Export to Word & autopopulate to mail merge fields?
scratch the voicethread - i misunderstood the setting
