Personally, I like Pownce best of all the services.

the constant updates do get annoying, specially when you do not take part in the conversation

speljamr have you tried www.plurk.com/m ? It's the mobile version but it has a cleaner UI

I am not convinced either way. I am trying plurk out. I do have to say I have 3 chat programs running at most times.

plurk is a copy cat but they innovated with the timeline

the notifications and updates become overwhelming and time consuming. We'll see though which one comes out on top.

And Pownce inovated with the file sharing feature. Very useful to me.

its now 17:39pm, remember this prediction pownce is not going very far... for much longer. Plurk just stuck a nail in its coffin

Plurk doesn't do file sharing. I find that feature very useful.

I really think Twitter has it because of the superior potential to drive traffic

Jaiku is nice too. I like the feed feature, similar to FriendFeed.

Pownce is an awesome service; I rarely use my account, but it looks better than twitter & I love how you can send out your media via Pownce
