wipes at her eyes and wipes up the last of the mousse. "I suppose I have some cookies left over that we could have instead."

gets the cookies in a hurry and puts them on the table. Chocolate chip!

smiles at that. "Oh, thank you."

nods and eats a couple, still pretty satisfied with dessert. "Maybe I'll make some mousse later and send you some to make up for it."

keeps her small smile. "I'd like that."
