there was frost on the roofs but not heavy. It hasn't immediately gone from everywhere. It persists in the shadows not yet touched by the sun.

that the bedroom temperature held up quite well on the half-bar heater but the temperature in here was much lower and is still struggling. The sun coming around to this side might start helping soon though.

chosen a reasonable time in the afternoon and was wearing the facemask to protect my lungs as well as the warm jacket-coat.

the hover/humming robin was relatively quick to start helping itself to the sunflower seeds again. If the snow does arrive I might refill one of the old & even more accessible fat block holders too (not squirrel proof though!).

given his wife a bird feeder holder that stands in the lawn and can support different kinds of feeder. It should be nice for her to see birds through the window when she’s stuck in bed for extended periods.
