I will probably not stay up for New Years because I am travel tireds, but it was really nice to see my family and friends in Cali land!

Certainly glad their house and neighborhood are in good shape since that fire came really close, and because there was all this fog lingering around it kept the ash smell around

But it was pretty relaxing, got some good food with the fam on a frequent basis, some real nice gifts (I especially need to try out the electric blanket)

and I know there's end of the year stuff I should do (plenty to do tomorrow for sure) but man mostly I just wanna collapse right now
