We braved the Crystal Descent

And lemme tell you

The Crystal Descent sucks

just a bad time

made worse by how we were unprepared

because we didn't bring all the supplies we needed

You gotta bring shit with you when going on expeditions

Coal and Stone to build a camp hearth

Cloth to make bedrolls

Wood to make platforms to climb on

natural fibers for rope ladders

food

I've got light covered, at least

with the light of Zarôk

Anyway this game rules

it's so engaging. you really have to Plan expeditions

I'm so excited about my magic torch

It has a hands free mode where it just kinda sticks out of my backpack

oh boy

i missed some Shit, huh

we played like an hour or two

oh right also while exploring: everyone brings a black diamond

need to repair mapstones

God it was a fucking disaster though

I grabbed ALL the black diamonds to fix the elevator to the Crystal Descent

And then

the game fucking glitches out during a mapstone fast travel

and spawns me in at the bottom of the shaft instead of the top

So I couldn't reach the elevator

To fix it

Had to madly dash downwards until I could get enough coal to build a hearth and a map stone or we would have lost ALL those diamonds and had to spend hours farming orcs for rare drops
