Dark Souls - first of all booby trap the studio to kill any Bandai Namco marketing execs who try to get in. the short is not about boss fights or huge action setpieces or how very hard Dark Souls is. I mean there are snippets of fights and the protagonist dies repeatedly but like

these are basically flashbacks/cutaways in a bottle episode set in a Firelink-like hub area

involving a poignant but doomed interaction between the protagonist and a fucked up Firekeeper lady

Signalis - basically any possible story within the setting

Fire Emblem - like the last chapter of an imaginary game. a lot of backfill about why the war is going, don't go for like an actively unhappy ending but the protagonist gets a little fucked up about war and monarchy

Dino Crisis - FUCK yeah dude!

Etrian Odyssey - dark comedic episode about multiple guilds going missing in the labyrinth. this actually kind of overlaps too much with that synopsis for the Dark Souls episode. ah, well, nevertheless

The Stanley Parable - fuck if I know, swing for the fences

Deus Ex - something more in line with the first game. just. some sliiiiiiiiightly ridiculous government conspiracy thriller stuff

Nier - bring in Yoko Taro and tell him to just fuck you up

completely original story that it's not even immediately clear is related to Automata or the original please

Tenchu - I literally just wanted to get some ninja in there. weird that there weren't any ninja in the first season, isn't it

they're not in that order probably. Tenchu would be a weird note to end on

if I had to form a real list with plot ideas, I think it has to be

1. Jet Set Radio - stylish funk music video
2. Paper Mario - just a short story about an incidental species. Duplighost trying to befriend some Toads or something
3. Cocoon - go nuts with the mechanics, easy visual storytelling win

4. Hitman - First half is a character piece about the victim, with 47 Where's Waldoing in the back. Second half is the murder and escape
5. Outrun - racing story, it writes itself
6. Steamworld Dig/Heist - story in the universe.
7. Portal - you just should do a portal one. Its Portal. Easy money.

If they're not gonna give me a live-action Bioshock limited series the least they can do is a Secret Level episode
