SexySiloPuddinPie: probably, for one we are on summer break and the weather is fantastic, even if overcast.

Yeah. I live in Florida again and it's been 45-58 at night. A bit chilly for here.

I'd love to know if there are NZ-specific traditions that you do that maybe we don't? Like everyone goes to the beach after presents or special dessert that only you guys eat and only at Christmas?

Well, pruememo might have more insight to a kiwi xmas as we still celebrate it the South African way. We have special meats like ham (or gammon as we call it as its smoked), ox tongue, lamb leg etc. all served cold with salads because of summer.

We love trifle, but also pavlova, which is a kiwi dessert. We enjoy and are currently camping. So we spend the days in swimsuits and water!

Oh. She doesn't like me. Misunderstanding. Anyway, do you think you combine the two at all? Or do any Kiwi thing? I want to hear about South Africa too! My oldest son's best friend in Georgia was from South Africa and I just love to learn, if you don't mind?

Kiwis basically do the same, but they probably like doing a bbq or a hangi if they are Maori. it is big family fun days, just hanging out.
