someday I really wanna just. make a list of every Sea Wolf name in the game and what it translates to. because my people are WEIRD.

the women's names are generally less wild than the men's, because Sea Wolf convention sticks to a very short list of name endings for female names, most of which are straightforwardly "pretty" or "feminine"

so to make a weird or hardcore name for a Sea Wolf woman, you have to pick something REALLY wild for the first part of the name

but the men can stick together any two damn words from the dictionary and call it good

so you get male names like Old Foot, Aurochs Sausage, Horrible Frog, Nine Claws, and my personal favorite Yellow Snow

(my watsonian hypothesis for the name is that they're using "curious" in the more antiquated sense of "strange or unusual", and ol' Gorge's parents named him after a very interesting geological feature they encountered)
