I don't really know, but with a bit of poking around, I have found a candidate: Seven Wild Sisters, by Charles de Lindt.

It was too hard, huh? The witty dramatist is, of course, Oscar Wilde. He wrote two books of fairy tales (I recommend them both, but the stories rarely have happy endings). The first one is titled Happy Prince and the presented illustration is from the tale with the same title.
