I need to go back to Scotland just to take pictures of the stained glass in St. Michael's church in Linlithgow. I want to make cross-stitches of two of the windows there.

(Aside from the glass, the stonework in both of these is something special. This is just a small church beside the ruins of a palace, but it's very lovely.

So ah, if any of y'all are in Scotland and can pop out to Linlithgow, I'd pay money for some high-res pictures of these.

this is the guy being commemorated. Very neat dude, one of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's teachers.

don't think Linlithgow was someplace we made it to... though it was around 36 years ago now, so who knows with my memory

We just stopped there on the Outlander tour, because the ruins of Linlithgow Palace were used for some interiors for the show.
