I've played it through three times now. Three different romances - Harding, Emmrich, then Lucanis. And... yeah, I should've romanced Lucanis first. Because I'm unfortunately on the 'that was disappointing ' bandwagon, especially after the other two.

All in all, though, the more I've played, the more I see the holes in the game. This is not a game that used its ten-year development time well.

It's still enjoyable. I'm even still going to play it a few more times, but man... with ten years to use, you think it would've been impeccable.

The combat is a blast. My last Rook was a dagger mage and that was so much fun.

There are some great banters, and some of the added features are chefkiss good. The misses, though, are..... sigh.
