How do people price things for sale? Like, look on ebay and see what prices people have there?

I have some stuff needs selling and I'm not sure how to price and I need to chase some places to sell because I can't just keep relying on the kindness of cluelessnu and zigzag123 to sell my shit.

I'm sure there's a better way to do it, because I don't make a lot of sales, but idk man, I think most people are just guessing

We are always happy to take nerdy stuff and sell it on at the toy fair but it only happens twice a year.

But yes, we search for it on ebay and look at completed listings to see what stuff is actually selling for

Well, in this case also remember to set it for sold in Australia for a more accurate idea. You can offer international shipping but most will be out off by the postage cost

Also focus on what sold and didn't sell - gives you idea on what is selling well and what is selling slow

Just because something is listed at 5000 doesn't mean it's selling for that.

Plus, if it's a green: sold colour with a strike through it? It means it sold for less than listed as the seller took an offered price. You can't see what the offer was.
