not only do the performance issues sound dire......... the gameplay changes sound dire (luigi following you like a partner character which you have to order around instead of just controlling via the other button) .......... the WRITING...............

i could barely get thru origami king (read: i only watched the last hour of it) because i simply could not stand how the writing was for babies

like. it's whatever. mario games can be writtne for babies, i guess. but i'm tired of playing games whose target audience is apparently 6-12 year olds instead of , uh .

also enjoyable for adults.

i'm not surprised because mario games have been For Babies basically consistently since 2020 but like..... i am very bummed out by it.

especially since this has been plaguing the paper mario games since at LEAST color splash..... i hate to see it hit a mario&luigi rpg
