they're mostly in the carpet (or its underlay). My clothes tend not to be their preferred food.

suspecting these moths & maggots are all too small to interest Levanah_Banana - but the squirrels are a much larger (and tricky) target.

the large butterflies and moths outside, which were of interest to the neighbouring cats, have probably mostly died or gone into hibernation (in the case of the peacock butterflies) for the winter, even though there's still some lavender flowering.
