WORD!! Anyone tell me which one of these three indent markers I move to get the "40+ years" text all the way to the left margin - without upsetting the indent fur the bullet points below?

I think instead of moving an indent marker, you'd probably be better putting your cursor on the 40+ years line and either hit backspace or shift-tab to try to remove the tab on that line.
If you move the marker, you'll also move the other tabs that are on the same mark (your experience). But what you really want is just to remove the tab on that line if I'm reading this right.
