frustrated with computer stuff. It seems computer decided it just had enough of it, and dump the main drive from it&#39;s memory. Fortunately got it back working with some effort, but not like losing the whole shebang which it looked like it might be.

At least I have someone in house that can take care of these things... I couldn't imagine what price this bloody machine would be costing with the number of times I've had to do maintenence on it, just to keep it running.

how old your computer is. My proper one is 2006 (but with various bits replaced). My current laptop is only coming up to 2 years old but has malfunctioning lights (& screen flicker) from 1 year onwards. My previous laptop arrived already dysfunctional.

This newest one is about 1 year old (maybe less). The oldest one is probably over 5 years old.
