uhhhHHHH youtube, mostly, but i know they had a thing where they split off from geek and sundry a long time ago and idk if gs has the eps still for podcast
youtube is your best bet tho
spotify has it all! you need to look up the Geek and Sundry critical role podcast for campaign 1 and a chunk of c2
since they split from G&S a while into c2
they finished the adventure zone and are on to other recs
Watching it is super fun, you get to see all the great facial journeys.
i would deffo suggest watching it over listening just bc theres so much more like - adventure zone in comparison was not at an actual table, i think they played over voice chat, so crit role is much more back and forth in person
oh yeah def watch if you can but like. if they're busy with other stuff and don't want to have the vid set up all the time, the podcast can help too
but i do know people who listened to it and were fine they just didn't always get some of the jokes bc sometimes the voice actors do like physical motions with
there are some things you just HAVE to see in the vids dsfjkg
(like marisha LITERALLY falling out of her seat in shock when a spell comes in clutch during a BIG important boss fight in c1)
marisha is the most fun person to watch tbh "youre biased" yes
is it bias if it's pure fact
if it's not marisha it's sam
Yeah I also found it hard to just listen to because there is a fair bit of cross talk
or travis when they start getting into serious horror stuff lkdsjfg
travis who is about to climb the walls any time matt makes a scary sound
poor travis sitting next to marisha for c3, considering her character...........
this is good to know so that if i start getting into it i'll know to watch, lmao
i think they listen to podcasts when they're doing other stuff, though
yeah you can find the beginning of S1 still on geek and sundry
it is confusing because they do still start in media res because they just started filming their already-in-progress home game
(guess how many minutes I've made it into S1 lol)
yeah I'm halfway into campaign 2 and I've also just been doing it on YouTube
definitely also recommend watching over listening but also there are a lot of times you can be, like, doing other stuff at the same time haha
like you don't have to have eyes on the screen for four hours at a time by any means
especially during combat and, like, shopping episodes, I will definitely do chores or play games while watching
