Dad, I asked, why do you have a plastic bag that is literally twelve years old? I designed that logo. How has it been unused in your house all this time??
fukin jumpscared by the most traumatic job of my life
Mom somehow has "good" (i.e. high-mil) plastic bags from bookstores that have been out of business for a decade so I feel like this is A Boomer Thing
incredible the things home owners will have in their house
............ what you don't have multiple bags of bags sorted by size and strength?
They stopped giving us plastic bags in Maine before the pandemic. We are bereft.
ok but that's a cute af logo tho
Same here! But I had a STASH
I cram all of the bags and wrappers and film that's the correct plastic # in bag recycling as fast as I can because I do not want to become my mother
or my grandmother who hoarded butter tubs to use as snack bowls
ngl... I keep the plastic bags of the local food truck that comes by, like, once every two months, if I'm lucky.
i don't consider it hoarding, they're free pet waste bags and the really nice ones i reuse and wipe off and return until they wear out bc they're a lot smaller to carry than meant-to-be-reusable bags, also are perfect for giving people food to take home from parties if it's raining.
we're finally running super low on the shitty grocery store ones for pet waste and will eventually have to buy small wastebasket bags for that purpose, but if i actually use the stash on a daily basis it's not hoarding. my cardboard box collection is hoarding, though, i've gotta watch turning into grandma on that one.
....tho i am ABSOLUTELY my grandmother re: there are instructions taped to every appliance in the house, but that's more a statement on my mother being a disaster than grandma.
zero common sense and needs constant reminders, so yeah... i am become lita
rofl I also have instructions taped to things. my fridge doors could double as a book of tutorials.
I miss having a plastic bag stash.
