love interests in books and movies and whatever are so, annoying, just the entire category, Ik its just because I have no basis to relate and I have nothing against authors doing what they please in that regard but that doesn't not make me want to roll my eyes at literally every scene that involves one
(am overstating but otherwise that is a good description of how pointless and out of place it often feels to me)
unlike you im a huge sucker for love stories and everything but ive always thought its really awkward and forced to have things like grandiose kissing scenes. like i cant wrap my head around (assumedly) ppl that feel satisfaction from them. its kinda icky especially if theres not a good enough relationship to warrant it which is usually what i dont like
